2 story house interior design | Votproject
year: 2021
Here we present our project – an exquisite 2 stroy house interior design crafted by Votproject in 2022. This stunning residence boasts 3 bedroom, 4 bathrooms, and spans a total area of 2560 square feet, stands as a testament to modern minimalistic living.
In the Heart of the House
At the heart of the house resides a central space that seamlessly blends the living room and kitchen, meticulously crafted to establish a harmonious and functional living area. Enhancing the walls are refined wooden tiles measuring 47 inches by 23 inches, reaching from floor to ceiling. The majority of the walls are adorned in a light gray hue, contributing to a minimalist aesthetic that unifies all the interconnected spaces.
Work Area in the Kitchen
The countertop itself is crafted from monolithic gray quartz stone. This same countertop extends to the island, where the hob is conveniently located. An integral element of the living room design is the hood situated above the hob on the opposite side of the island, complemented by three half-bar stools.
To optimize space and maintain a streamlined appearance, the refrigerator is discreetly hidden within a cabinet adjacent to the one housing the microwave and oven. These thoughtful design solutions not only enhance the kitchen's functionality but also contribute to a cohesive and visually pleasing experience for both occupants and guests.
White Oak Flooring
The flooring, features tiles measuring 6 inches in width and 47 inches in length. To enhance durability on the ground floor, we opted for ceramic tiles with a white oak texture. Conversely, on the first floor, where such durability isn't a primary concern, we chose white oak laminate. This thoughtful selection contributes to a seamless sense of continuity and unity throughout all the rooms.
Less is More
Our design philosophy of "less is more" is evident in the predominantly gray walls, selectively combined with tiles on the kitchen wall or wooden furniture panels to introduce texture and interest. This minimalist approach enhances the overall sense of space and light within the apartment.
Moving into the first floor
On the second floor, we have a spacious terrace accessible from the main corridor, accompanied by a sizable wardrobe. The children's bathroom boasts a charming finish with wood-effect tiles and beige stone-effect tiles, seamlessly complementing the overall design of the house.
An intriguing office room on this floor showcases a collection of antique items owned by the house's owner. What distinguishes this room is its unique rounded ceiling, antique lamp, and an abundance of collectibles.
In the children's room, blue serves as an accent color, complemented by a large geometric image on the wall crafted from wallpaper. This room is designed for two boys.
The second floor also hosts a master bedroom and a master bathroom. The bathroom features tiles with a wood-like appearance, and on a shared wall with the children's bathroom, three windows allow natural light to filter into the rear-positioned children's bathroom.
The master bedroom is separated by a wall adorned with wooden furniture panels, accented with a black aluminum corner, mirroring the design in the living room. Behind this wall lies a dressing room dedicated to the homeowners.
